Echo Pharmaceuticals B.V. is a pharmaceutical company based in Weesp, The Netherlands, which focuses on the formulation, production and the development of pharmaceutical products, which are indicated for the treatment of numerous diseases and for applications such as the treatment of pain, nausea and vomiting, anorexia, spasticity and various other symptoms. Our patented processes enable the formulation of lipophilic compounds improving their bioavailability. Echo Pharmaceuticals' technique is scalable and cost effective.

Echo Pharmaceuticals production technology has been successfully applied to develop Namisol®, a sublingual tablet containing pure delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, also known as THC, which has been extracted and purified from the Cannabis sativa.

Namisol® has been developed in response to a need for a registered cannabinoid-based medicine in the field of Multiple Sclerosis by patients, medical practitioners and local authorities throughout the Netherlands.

Collaborations with respected partners such as BMC (the Dutch Office of Medicinal Cannabis) and Bedrocan B.V. provide Echo Pharmaceuticals with medicinal Cannabis.
