About Namisol^®

Namisol^® is the first sublingual tablet containing dronabinol USP (ultrapure THC), which has been developed using our unique formulation technology.

Namisol^® is indicated for the treatment of different diseases symptoms such as:

- Spasticity with pain, for instance from Multiple Sclerosis and spinal cord injury
- Nausea and vomiting by chemotherapy, radiotherapy or treatment with HIV-medication
- Chronic neuralgic pain
- Gilles de la Tourette Syndrome
- Palliative treatment of cancer and HIV/AIDS

Namisol^® posseses several unique characteristics compared to existing products. Namisol^® offers superior stability, unproblematic administration, is more robust and is cheaper to produce.

The pharmacokinetics of Namisol^® were studied via an in-vivo test in one healthy human subject (n=1). The results are given in Figure 1 in which they are compared with the data obtained for pulmonary administration of vaporised THC (inhalation route) and oral administration of THC.

The pharmacokinetic parameters measured on Namisol^® reveal a maximum serum concentration (C_max) of 70 ng/ml and a T_max of 33 min.

Namisol^® has a bioavailability of 150% compared to the inhalation route.
Compared to oral or similar administration route its bioavailability is 20 times larger.

Namisol^®’s sublingual delivery method clearly distinguishes itself from other delivery methods by the following:

1. Avoids the first pass metabolism effect on the liver
2. Rapid uptake
3. Proven high-bioavailability
4. Sublingual tablets allow for control of dosage
5. The formulation has a rapid onset of action
6. Recommended for patients who suffer from vomiting and nausea and have difficulty ingesting oral capsules
